Jeopardy!’ The crowd was shocked by the finalists’ failure to respond to this question regarding the Lord’s Prayer.

The three “Jeopardy!” contestants became silent as host Mayim Bialik asked them to end the “Our Father,” which is the most common prayer in Christianity.
Jeopardy! The audience was surprised by the contestants’ failure to respond to a question about The Lord’s Prayer this week.

On Tuesday’s episode of the game show, Mayim Bialik, who serves as the host, read aloud the question that was presented: “Matthew 6:9 says, “Our Father Who Art In Heaven,” This “Be Thy Name.”
The Lord’s Prayer, often known as the “Our Father” prayer, is a popular prayer among Christians, however, Suresh, Joe, and Laura were unable to respond with the proper response, “Hallowed Be Thy Name.”

The circumstance sparked an immediate response from the audience, with many asking how the finalists could have been stumped by such a seemingly simple question.“You gotta be kidding me no one knew ‘hallowed’ on #Jeopardy lol,” someone wrote on Twitter. They later added, “I only went to Catholic school for two years but it’s nuts how much I can remember at the drop of a prompt.”
“This Jeopardy question was accurately answered by my 4-year-old niece! The attendees might not be familiar with The Lord’s Prayer.”

Regarding the 1982 heavy metal song “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” one user said, “How can those Jeopardy! Nerds wouldn’t have the answer. Do they not know about Iron Maiden?”

Someone else expressed amazement that none of the contestants had even offered a prediction. Tonight’s Jeopardy contestants were just asked to fill in the blank, “Our Father who art in heaven, __ be thy name.” Nobody dared make a guess. I was surprised by the question because I thought it would be simple.
