The lawsuit stated, “Had she been insured… cancer may have been stopped.” Doherty underwent extensive treatments, including surgery, hormone therapy, and chemotherapy, along with other procedures.

In her latest update, she discussed the challenges of radiation therapy, mentioning her claustrophobia. She praised her medical team and shared, “This is what cancer may look like—that worry, that turbulence, that timing.”
