Soap Opera Star Known For Her Roles In ‘Another World’ And ‘All My Children’ Dies At 70

Actress Nancy Frangione, known for her roles in soap operas like “Another World,” “All My Children,” and “One Life to Live,” passed away at the age of 70 on August 18, 2023, in Massachusetts. Her family disclosed her death after a “brief illness.”

Frangione’s acting journey began in high school, and she later attended Barry College in Florida. Her professional career commenced in New York, and she graced Broadway with her presence in the play “Equus.” Her soap opera journey started as a temporary replacement on “One Life to Live” in 1968. She gained fame as Tara Martin Brent in “All My Children” and as Cecile de Poulignac in “Another World,” appearing in 75 episodes from 1980 to 1995.

 

Beyond acting, Nancy had diverse interests, including gardening, astrology, and singing. She was married to actor Christopher Rich, with whom she had a daughter named Mariel Rich. Her memory lives on through her four sisters, brother, ex-husband, and daughter.
