Arnold Schwarzenegger, once closely associated with the Democratic Party, has been vocal in his criticism of their policies. During a conversation with Rob Lowe on “Literally! With Rob Lowe,” he discussed the differences between Republicans and Democrats.
Lowe described Republicans as being in favor of a strong military, low taxes, limited government, and personal freedoms, to which Schwarzenegger added, “Strong law enforcement.”
When asked about Democrats, Schwarzenegger bluntly stated, “Ruin your cities… We want to f— up every city in America. That seems to be the theme right now.” When pressed on why Democrats might want this, he responded, “I have no idea.”
Schwarzenegger’s recent statements on issues like border security, terrorism, and drug cartels show a shift toward conservative viewpoints. He expressed concerns about the surge in illegal entries and drug smuggling since President Biden’s reversal of Trump’s border policies.
This marks a significant departure from the past, with many on the left realizing the current administration’s shortcomings in border security. Schwarzenegger deserves credit for his outspokenness on this matter.
