Keith Urban Has Returned Home After Prostate Cancer Therapy

Country star Keith Urban, whose father battled prostate cancer, recently graced the “It’s A Bloke Thing” luncheon in Toowoomba. The event, a vital fundraiser for prostate cancer research, attracted 500 enthusiastic attendees who each contributed $1. This cause is deeply personal for Urban as his father, Robert, succumbed to the disease in 2015. The luncheon, now in its seventh year, has garnered over $1.53 million in donations from the community. Keith Urban, showing immense generosity, performed for free, helping the event set a new fundraising record of $2,024,000.00. His selfless support significantly boosted the event’s success, making a substantial impact on this philanthropic endeavor.

Quoting Urban: “It’s a Bloke Thing is doing fantastic work… It’s about raising awareness and taking the stigma out of it. So I’m here to support them as much as I can.”
