Tired Mom Approaches Loud Teens At Hotel, Finds Note Under Her Door The Next Morning

Indianapolis recently welcomed FFA members for their annual convention, where they quietly spread kindness. Amid them, the Amt family faced hotel living due to home flooding. After a noisy night, Randi Amt approached the students, explaining her situation. They apologized and left a note with $40 to help.

Inspired by a convention speech on kindness, the Amts decided to pay it forward. They started a fundraiser to aid the homeless in Indianapolis. Randi noted, “We realize how blessed we are. We’re fortunate to have shelter.” Their children also learned a valuable lesson from the FFA students’ generosity.

Trint Peine, the FFA students’ advisor, expressed pride in their actions, saying, “My kids went out and used what they learned to make a difference.”

In a time of division, these stories show that small acts of kindness can create a ripple of goodwill and compassion in our communities.
