A Michigan strip club sparked controversy with a sign offering jobs to new high school graduates. The sign sought “gorgeous, confident, and talented women that can own the dance floor.” Locals criticized it, with Lisa Mulholland stating, “The sign was inappropriate and sends the wrong message.”
She added, “If you’re a graduate, you want to go to college.” Another resident, Lisa Dickerson, agreed, saying, “Children fresh out of high school shouldn’t be taking their clothes off for money; I think it’s sickening.” The club issued an apology, clarifying that the sign was meant as a joke and not intended to offend anyone. The club, in operation since the 1970s, offers a mild and welcoming atmosphere with modern music.
