Debra Winger, famous for her role in the classic film “An Officer and a Gentleman,” remains as stunning as ever at 67. Winger started her career with the 1976 movie “Slumber Party ’57” and a role in the TV series “Wonder Woman.” In the early 1980s, she gained fame with Academy and Golden Globe nominations for her performances in “Urban Cowboy,” “An Officer and a Gentleman,” and “Terms of Endearment.”

Rumors abound about why she took a break from Hollywood, with most focusing on her alleged feuds with co-stars. Reports suggest tension with Richard Gere on the set of “An Officer and a Gentleman,” and clashes with Shirley MacLaine during “Terms of Endearment.” Winger later claimed her hiatus was due to personal, not professional reasons.

After a six-year break, she returned to acting in films like “Big Bad Love,” “Searching for Debra Winger,” and later in “Rachel Getting Married,” “The Lovers,” and “Kajillionaire.” In 2021, she appeared in the drama film “With/In.”

Winger reflects on Hollywood, stating, “I’m not sure what Hollywood is.” Her enduring legacy in Hollywood continues to captivate fans.
