A Connecticut boy’s life took a tragic turn when another child set him on fire using a gasoline-soaked tennis ball. Six-year-old Dominick Krankall suffered severe second- and third-degree burns to his face and legs in the horrifying incident. His sister, Kayla Deegan, expressed her shock, saying, “He’s going to be scarred for life mentally and physically.”
The incident occurred in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where an eight-year-old neighbor found gasoline and a tennis ball in a shed and set it ablaze, throwing it at Dominick. After the attack, the assailant ran away, leaving Dominick in flames.
Dominick is currently receiving treatment at the Connecticut Burn Center, and his condition is described as “fair.” The family is devastated by the attack and seeks justice for their son. Authorities have not yet pressed charges against the eight-year-old responsible, who has a history of bullying.
Dominick’s family is accepting donations to cover medical expenses and find a safer place to live. They are sharing their story to raise awareness about the incident and the need for justice.
