Daughter Dies Suddenly, Mom Finds Secret Letter In Her Room And Is Stunned By What It Says

When Taylor Smith, a young girl from Tennessee, wrote a letter to her future self in 2013, she dreamt of simple aspirations: going to college, traveling, keeping her faith, and watching “Doctor Who.” She instructed the letter to be opened on April 12, 2023, but tragically, Taylor passed away from pneumonia.

Her parents discovered the letter after her death, choosing to share its message with the world. In the letter, Taylor encouraged her 22-year-old self to persist in pursuing a college degree and stay faithful to God. She hoped to continue watching “Doctor Who,” assuming it still aired. The letter included a description of a popular Dollywood ride and an iPad drawing to show future children outdated technology.

Taylor’s parents are heartbroken but want the letter to preserve their daughter’s hopeful spirit. This letter inspires us to cherish life and pursue our dreams, as we never know what the future holds. Taylor may not have realized her goals, but her spirit lives on through her words.
