‘I’m Leaving Y’all’: Whoopi Goldberg Walks Off ‘The View’ Amid Miranda Lambert Controversy

Whoopi Goldberg made headlines on ‘The View’ by playfully walking off the set during a discussion about Miranda Lambert scolding concertgoers for taking selfies. The controversy began when Lambert berated fans at her show who were capturing their concert experience. Alyssa Farah Griffin defended the fans, arguing that Lambert should respect those who paid to see her. Whoopi Goldberg took the opposing view, saying fans should show respect by not taking selfies during performances.

Sara Haines noted that the fans in question had VIP tickets, which cost $757, and questioned whether Lambert’s reaction was warranted. Sunny Hostin pointed out the balance fans should strike between capturing memories and enjoying the live show. When Hostin challenged Whoopi Goldberg’s perspective, Goldberg walked toward the audience and took a selfie to make her point.

The incident sparked a lively debate on ‘The View’ about concert etiquette and the expectations of fans and artists.
