How to Use Ginger to Stop Hair Loss and Recover Them Fast

Ginger is a super herb/spice that has been around for over thousands of years. A popular and effective medicinal ingredient in Ayurveda, ginger is often referred to as a root, an underground stem known as rhizome. Due to its strong and spicy aroma, ginger holds an important place as a spice, delicacy and even medicine. A little-known fact is that ginger is also great for your hair. It is jammed packed with antioxidants, and it’s also a well-known antiseptic, which is helpful in resolving problems like brittle hair, hair loss, and dandruff. It would also have the effect of making your hair grow faster, because it intensifies blood flow to the scalp. Undertaking a ginger treatment would therefore be a solution to make your hair grow faster.

Preparing ginger: do it yourself

To make your homemade recipe, you need 500 grams of fresh ginger roots! Just peel them, as if you wanted to eat them, and cut them into small pieces.

Then place all the pieces in a juice extractor, juicer or blender, depending on what you have at home. All three will do just fine.

Little tip: add a little bit of water. It will allow the pieces of ginger to grind more easily.

Application of treatment

Using a strainer, collect the ginger “juice” in a cup and filter the remaining pieces. The goal is to apply only the liquid preparation, as a mask, to the scalp. It is imperative to have dry hair. Gently massage your roots with your fingertips for a few minutes. Be careful, you should not immediately go to the shower afterwards. It is very important to leave the preparation on your scalp for at least an hour before rinsing. Repeat the operation twice a week for a month.
