Tragic news regarding Frank Fritz of the American Pickers

Frank Fritz, known for hosting “American Pickers,” went through a tumultuous period following his breakup with long-time partner Diann Bankson. Their relationship turned sour when she discovered him with another woman in 2018. Despite the betrayal, Fritz initially wanted to marry her. He spiraled into alcoholism and struggled with health issues after the breakup.

His professional life also suffered, and he left “American Pickers” in March 2020. However, he expressed his desire to return once he recovered from back surgery. Though a showrunner promised his return, there are no definitive plans for him to host the show again.

Fritz’s health took a severe hit when he suffered a stroke on July 4, 2022. After hospitalization, he was placed under guardianship and sent to a nursing home. A friend was appointed as his guardian, with a bank handling his financial matters. Court documents revealed his deteriorating condition, requiring a guardian to protect his health in the future.

Our thoughts go out to Frank Fritz, hoping for his recovery.
