Shannen Doherty Shares an Update on Her Cancer Battle: ‘You’re Done’

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Shannen Doherty, battling stage IV cancer, shared her ongoing struggle. Diagnosed in 2015, this year she revealed the cancer had spread to her brain. On January 5th, a CT scan confirmed brain metastases, leading to her first round of radiation on January 12th. Doherty, acknowledging her fear and turmoil, highlighted the support of her doctors and techs at Cedar Sinai.

In an emotional video, tears streamed down her face during the radiation session. Trying to find humor, she named her tumor Bob, which later got removed for pathology examination. Doherty, emphasizing her will to live, expressed, “I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better.” Despite the challenges, she maintains resilience and optimism in her ongoing journey.
