Celebrity chef Guy Fieri, renowned for his TV shows and popular restaurants, faced a notable setback in 2011 when his $200,000 Lamborghini was stolen by a daring 16-year-old, Max Wade. The thief, resembling a movie character, used climbing gear to break into the San Francisco dealership where Fieri’s car was serviced. Wade, knowing he had a celebrity’s ride, triggered the car’s alarm, turned it off, and drove it out through the front door. Security cameras recorded the heist, and the stolen luxury sports car, identified by the conspicuous license plate “GUYTORO,” was later seen joyriding in San Francisco.
Despite the car theft being just one of Wade’s many offenses, he faced severe consequences, earning a lifetime prison spot by the age of nineteen. Fieri, who testified at the trial, prioritized justice over his car, stating, “There are other facets… far more important than my car.”
