“I Was Heartbroken.” UPS Driver Receives Special Farewell Note From Dog With Cancer.

John Keffer, a UPS driver in Pittsburgh, created a heartwarming routine by giving out dog treats during his deliveries. What started as a small gesture grew into a daily tradition. Keffer’s special bond with a dog named Rosie was particularly touching. Sadly, Rosie passed away due to cancer, but her owners expressed gratitude for the joy Keffer brought to her life. In a farewell note accompanied by a box of milk bones, they encouraged him to continue making dogs happy on his route.

Keffer, moved by the gesture, shared, “When you deliver to someone once a week or every day, you get used to their ‘fur babies.’ Even though you may only see them for a moment, doesn’t mean that they don’t leave their paw prints on your heart.”

Although the note had sad news inside, John was touched.
