27 Years Ago, Patrick Swayze Danced With His Wife And Brought Millions To Tears

In 1994 at the World Music Awards, Patrick Swayze and his wife, Lisa Nieme, took the stage in a graceful dance to Whitney Houston’s “All the Man That I Need.” The song, originally by Linda Clifford in 1982, became a hit for Houston in 1991. Swayze’s performance was a tribute to the talented Whitney Houston, whose rendition topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. This dance, a few years post-Dirty Dancing, showcased Swayze’s remarkable skills.

The couple exhibited seamless moves, highlighting their exceptional dance abilities and strong connection. Married for 34 years until Swayze’s passing in 2009, they shared a special bond that began in 1970 when Lisa, then a dance student, met 18-year-old Swayze through his mother’s lessons. The video concludes with Whitney Houston wholeheartedly applauding the heartfelt performance.
