Girl, 16, Found Dead In Starbucks Bathroom, Then Customers See What’s Beside Her Body

In a heartbreaking incident, 16-year-old Gwynevere Staddon was discovered lifeless in a Starbucks bathroom in Port Moody. An employee made the distressing find, and despite prompt emergency response, she couldn’t be revived. The police report disclosed she had a small quantity of drugs and paraphernalia.

Gwynevere’s mother, Veronica, strongly believes her daughter succumbed to a fentanyl overdose. “My best friend, my daughter, my sweetheart baby … I will never stop missing you,” lamented Veronica on Facebook.

Gwynevere had battled substance abuse, reassuring her mother she had quit for three weeks before the fatal relapse. Veronica had explored rehab options but faced long public clinic waitlists and couldn’t afford private facilities.

Desperate for change, Veronica calls for action against drug dealers and improved accessibility to rehabilitation. She mourns, “The whole world is missing out on a born entertainer, or a future politician.”
