Country star Tim McGraw, 56, paid tribute to the late Toby Keith, who passed away at 62 after battling stomach cancer. During a performance at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, McGraw emotionally sang his song “Live Like You Were Dying” in dedication, sharing on Instagram, “Toby and I became good friends early in our careers. He was a great guy, a talented artist, and I admired how he did things his own way.” McGraw recalled their shared bus rides, shows, and basketball games, adding, “He was really good at basketball, so it wasn’t much fun playing against him.” The heartfelt gesture received praise, with Brett Favre expressing, “Tim that was awesome!!!” Favre shared Keith’s final sentiments, where he discussed being at peace with his situation. McGraw previously posted on Instagram, calling Keith his “brother” and expressing admiration for Keith’s fearless career approach, concluding with, “We all will miss you, brother.”
