With heavy hearts, we announce the passing. When you find out who she is, you will cry

After her mother was diagnosed with cancer, the radio host took time away from her Breakfast show to care for her.

Her birthday is August 29, 1949.

Zoe Ball, a star on BBC Radio 2, is her daughter.

In March 2024, the host wrote on Instagram that Julia had been diagnosed with cancer.

She told her fans, “Our beautiful Mama Julia has been diagnosed with Cancer, which breaks my heart.”

“These are really tough times, as many of you know from the real world. Mom is being really brave.

“My brother Jamie and I are in awe of how well the doctors, nurses, and support staff are taking care of Mom.”

“Thanks.” Thanks to our families, extended families, and friends at home and at work for all their help during this time.

Zoe then said she would be taking some time off work to help her mom deal with her diagnosis.

Once Zoe got back to her Breakfast show on April 17, 2024, she told everyone that her dear mother had been moved into a hospice.

She gave the paramedics who had helped Julia a Bon Jovi song as a gift.

She said on air, “Mom is now in hospice care. Things are pretty hard for the family right now.”

“I want to thank John, Scarlett, Charlie (both Charlies), Sophie, and Laura for taking such good care of my mom.”

“My mom is having a really hard time right now. Sending her lots of love.”

“Love you Mum.”

What caused Julia Peckham’s death?
Zoe told everyone on April 24, 2024, that her mother Julia, who was 74 years old, had died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

She paid tribute to her on social media and told her followers that she had died.

She posted a picture of Julia with the words “Sleep tight, dear Mama.”

“Thank you for showing us how to love without conditions, be brave and caring all the time, and how laughter is the best gift, even on the worst days.”

“We miss you so much, but we will hold on so tight to each other.”

She also said, “Today I say goodbye to Granny J. Thank you for being a wonderful woman.”

“The only person who always sent me a Valentine’s card.”

In 1969, Julia married Johnny Ball, a TV host.

Zoe was born on November 23, 1970, when she was 21 years old.

Julia broke up with Johnny when Zoe was two years old, and they were no longer married in 1972.

Zoe has already talked about how hard it was for her to get along with Julia after her parents split up.

In the past, she said, “I didn’t see my mom Julia for a few years because she was so young when she got married to my dad and had me.”

“When they parted I lived with my dad and my other ‘mum’, his wife Diane.”

But in the last few years, they became very close, and Zoe helped her mom after her husband Richard died in 2013.

Zoe talked about her brother Jamie Clark when she talked about taking care of her mother.

He was born in February 1977.
