Sad news about the Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak.

Pat Sajak, the long-standing host of “Wheel of Fortune,” recently shared his harrowing experience with a medical emergency on “Good Morning America.” Sajak described how he suddenly felt excruciating pain in his stomach after a walk with his daughter, leading to an urgent hospitalization. Despite multiple attempts with different medications, only one painkiller eventually alleviated his intense suffering, sending him into a state of calm he initially mistook for the approach of death.

Sajak humorously recounted that he realized later he was simply experiencing the strong effects of the medication, saying, “It turns out that I was merely high!” The successful surgery alleviated his fears, much to his and his family’s relief. During his recovery, his co-host, Vanna White, took over his hosting duties, marking a rare occasion in their over three-decade partnership on the show.

Now fully recovered, Sajak has returned to “Wheel of Fortune,” much to the delight of his team and fans. His comeback reassures everyone of his health and continues to strengthen his iconic partnership with White.
