At the age of 34, she was considered by many to be an experienced driver. There was nothing to suspect, however, on that cursed day, something terrible happened!

Courtney Ann Sanford, 34, known for her driving skills, met an unexpected end on a seemingly ordinary day. While driving, she felt elated as her favorite song, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, played on the radio. She decided to share her joy by taking a selfie and posting, “This song makes me happy!” on Facebook. That split-second decision proved fatal.

Shortly after, her car collided with a truck at about 60 km/h, veering into a ditch and then a tree. The impact caused the car to catch fire, and Courtney tragically lost her life.

Her family was devastated to learn of her final Facebook post, eerily close to the crash. Law enforcement confirmed, “The post was made at 8:33 AM. At 8:34 AM, we received the emergency call.”

Courtney’s tragic story highlights the dangers of distracted driving. Her death is a stark reminder: “When behind the wheel, focus on driving.”
