Tom Sellek opened up about his struggles amid the cancellation of his tv-show ‘Blue Bloods’

In a CBS Sunday Morning interview, Tom Selleck discussed the financial uncertainties he faces following the cancellation of “Blue Bloods,” where he starred for 14 seasons. The actor also revealed concerns about maintaining his 63-acre Ventura County ranch without a steady income.

Selleck, whose ranch was once an avocado farm, highlighted the need for financial stability in acting, stressing the importance of a consistent paycheck. Despite a successful career, he admitted that managing such a large property is challenging without ongoing income. He emphasized his need to secure new roles to sustain his lifestyle and expenses.

Regarding health, there have been rumors about Selleck’s arthritis, reportedly causing him pain and requiring a stunt double for “Blue Bloods” scenes. However, his representatives deny these claims, stating he is “fit and vigorous.” While Selleck hasn’t confirmed specific health issues, he acknowledged that years of performing stunts have impacted his body, particularly his back.

At 79, Selleck remains active, recently releasing his memoir, “You Never Know,” and enjoying life on his ranch while balancing professional and family commitments.
