Every Time I Returned to My New Apartment, I Found Notes with Threats — When I Saw Who Was Leaving Them, I Froze

Samantha, 35, was thrilled to move into her dream apartment, but her excitement quickly turned to fear when she began receiving ominous notes telling her to leave. The notes were terrifying, with messages like “Move out or you’ll regret it” and “This apartment will harm you.” As the threats escalated and dead pigeons appeared on her balcony, Samantha decided to take action.

She installed hidden cameras to catch the culprit and was shocked to discover that the person behind the notes was her own mother. “NO, IT CAN’T BE.” When Samantha confronted her, her mother tearfully confessed, “I miss you so much. The house feels like a tomb without you.” They talked it through, and while the notes stopped, the mystery of the dead pigeons remained—until Samantha realized it was the neighbor’s cat.

This experience taught Samantha the importance of communication, even when it’s difficult, and how love, even when misguided, can bring people back together.
