Heather Tom, known for her role as Katie Logan on *The Bold and the Beautiful,* recently mourned the loss of her mother, Marie. The actress expressed her grief on Instagram, sharing images, a video, and a heartfelt letter.

“My brother David, sister Nicholle, and only child Michael held my mother’s hand, kissed her face, and muttered ‘I love you’ as she passed away,” Heather wrote. She called her mother her “most significant influence” and “biggest supporter.”

Marie, who was a single mother, played a crucial role in helping Heather move her family to Los Angeles. Heather fondly remembered her mother’s love for Mexican food, margaritas, Elvis Presley, and toy poodles.

“Every day I will miss her, but because my son’s eyes are hers, I will see her there every time I look into them,” Heather added.

Heather, who married musician James Achor in 2011, is also a proud mother to their son, Zane Alexander Achor, born in 2012. “I’m so proud to be your mom—you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Heather said in 2020
