Two elderly ladies, Dolly and Ruby, were discussing their grandchildren. Dolly shared, “Each year, I send my grandchildren a card with a generous cheque, but I never hear from them—not even a thank you message.”
Ruby responded, “I also send my grandchildren a generous cheque, and within a week, they contact me. In fact, they all come to visit me personally.”
Dolly, surprised, asked, “Wow! How do you manage that?”
Ruby smiled and said, “Very simple—I don’t sign the cheque.”
