Teenage girl dies of cancer – when her mom looks at her coffin, her heart is filled with warmth

Laura Hillier from Ontario, Canada, was 13 years old when she was told she had leukemia. She was told she no longer had cancer after a lot of treatments, but her and her family’s happiness didn’t last long because the disease came back four years later.

It breaks my heart that this young, beautiful woman lost her battle with cancer on January 20, 2016.

On the Facebook page that was set up to track Laura’s progress and problems while she was still alive, her family shared the sad news.

“She was brave in battle, and you would all be so proud of her.” “Until the very end, her poise, courage, strength, and pure spirit shone through,” her family wrote.

A lot of people loved the Nelson High School pupil. All the people she met were changed by her, and now it was her friends’ turn to show her how much they loved her.

There were notes on top of her casket that showed how grateful, loving, and sad they were that she had died.

They wanted Laura to have a farewell full of love, like a dear friend and student.

On her casket were tributes written by her family, neighbors, classmates, teachers, and even the hospital staff.

People sent so much love and support for Laura’s family that they were overwhelmed when they saw her casket.

There was a message that said, “You were musical.” You had artistic skills. You were getting it. You were my best friend. “Very brave and strong,” said someone else. “You’ll always be a hero.”

People’s clothes and the church were all purple, which is Laura’s favorite color.

Laura passed away, which was sad, but it was heartwarming to see how much love her community showed her.

May she rest in peace.
