Mom of four has vanity plate for 15 years – DMV rules inappropriate and demands she surrender it

A New Hampshire mother, Wendy Auger, was shocked when the DMV demanded she surrender her vanity plates after 15 years. Her plates, “PB4WEGO,” serve as a reminder for her four sons to “pee before we go,” a common parental phrase.

The DMV deemed the message inappropriate, claiming it referred to “sexual or excretory acts.” Auger found this decision absurd, arguing that the plates reflected her family’s identity. After sharing her story on Facebook, the post went viral, attracting attention, including from New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who intervened and allowed her to keep the plates.

On August 28, 2019, Auger joyfully announced her victory on social media, celebrating the return of her beloved plates.
