Dressed in breathtaking Elie Saab designs, Celine Dion belted out hits like “The Power of Love” and “I’m Alive” with a captivating performance

Celine Dion’s unforgettable appearance at Elie Saab’s fashion event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday evening was more than just a dazzling performance—it was an emotional, triumphant moment that marked a new chapter in the Canadian superstar’s journey. For the first time in her career, Celine stood on a stage in Saudi Arabia, in the presence of her devoted fans and fashion icon Elie Saab, surrounded by elegance, beauty, and love.

The event, which showcased Saab’s latest creations, was nothing short of spectacular, with the runway aglow in a parade of stunning pink outfits. But the highlight of the evening wasn’t just the fashion—it was the voice of Celine Dion herself, who took center stage to perform a few of her greatest hits, stunning the audience with her legendary talent.

As the models strutted in their mesmerizing pink ensembles, Celine gave a moving performance, singing “The Power of Love” and “I’m Alive”, two of her most iconic tracks. But the emotional crescendo of her performance came when she took a step further to honor the music that has shaped her life and career. She graced the crowd with a heartfelt rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s classic “I Will Survive”, followed by her own timeless hits such as “Waiting for Tonight”, “On the Floor”, and “Let’s Get Loud”.

Celine’s presence at the event was particularly poignant given her recent battle with a rare neurological condition, Stiff-Person Syndrome, which has caused her significant physical challenges. The condition, which leads to severe muscle spasms, stiffness, and difficulties with movement, has made it difficult for her to perform in the way she once did. Yet, despite the immense struggles she has faced, Celine continues to prove her indomitable spirit.

I’ve been dreaming of being here for so long,” she said on the red carpet, clearly moved by the moment. “Monsieur Elie Saab and his beautiful family, and all of you have made me feel so welcome, and I am so honored to be here.”

Wearing an exquisite ensemble from Elie Saab’s collection, Celine looked every bit the part of the glamorous diva. She had pulled her signature blonde hair back into a chic bun, adding silver diamonds to complement the elegance of her look. But beyond her impeccable fashion, it was her words that captured the hearts of everyone in the room.
