Payne’s dark blue coffin, adorned with white roses, arrived on a horse-drawn carriage, bearing floral tributes labeled “son” and “daddy.”
Fans worldwide held vigils, and tributes were left in his hometown, Wolverhampton. As Payne’s parents, Geoff and Karen, arrived at the church, silence fell among mourners gathered nearby.
