CNN: Arizona Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening to Kill Trump in Chilling Facebook Videos

CNN — An Arizona man was arrested Monday after allegedly posting a series of threatening videos on Facebook, in which he vowed to kill President-elect Donald Trump and his family.

Manuel Tamayo-Torres now faces a felony charge for threatening the president-elect, according to court documents. In one video, Tamayo-Torres reportedly held up what appeared to be an AR-15-style rifle with a 30-round magazine while issuing the threats.

The court documents refer to Trump as “Individual 1,” describing him as a former president and the current president-elect. Last Thursday, Tamayo-Torres allegedly stated in a video, “[Individual 1], you’re gonna die. Your son’s gonna die. Your whole family is going to die. This is the only reality you have in your future: dying.”

Earlier in August, Tamayo-Torres reportedly posted a video from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, where Trump held a rally. During the event, Trump discussed forming an independent commission to investigate assassination attempts, referencing a prior incident in Pennsylvania.

Tamayo-Torres also faces charges for allegedly making false statements on federal gun purchase forms last year in Phoenix, Arizona.

It is unclear whether Tamayo-Torres has legal representation at this time.
