Mask Mandates Return After Doctors WARN of Dangerous ‘Quad-Demic’

A surge in COVID, flu, norovirus, and RSV infections is hitting the U.S. after millions returned to work post-holidays. Experts warn this trend will continue as the country approaches the peak of flu season. “Infections… began to surge during the holiday time after families gathered in large numbers to celebrate.”

Norovirus cases are particularly concerning, reaching levels unseen since 2012. Hospitalizations due to RSV have jumped 40% in just two weeks, highlighting the strain on healthcare systems. Flu has already sickened an estimated 3 million people, with 37,000 hospitalizations and over 1,500 deaths reported.

Hospitals in states like California, Indiana, and Illinois have reopened emergency measures to handle the influx. In New York, officials are urging residents to wear masks in crowded areas or on public transport to curb further spread.
