Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have settled their divorce after two years of marriage

Exes Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially settled their divorce, ending their two-year marriage. They are now awaiting a judge’s final approval to conclude their separation.

On Monday, Jan. 6, Jennifer submitted documents to the Los Angeles Superior Court confirming that the former couple had resolved their divorce through mediation in September, roughly a month after she initially filed.

The divorce will be officially finalized on Feb. 20, exactly six months after J.Lo first filed. Once a judge approves their split, Jennifer will also legally drop ‘Affleck’ from her name.

As reported by AP, the ex-Hollywood power couple will not be paying any spousal support and will retain the earnings from their individual projects and business ventures.

For Jennifer, this includes the revenue from several films she starred in during their marriage, such as Atlas, This Is Me Now, The Mother, Shotgun Wedding, and Marry Me, reports the Mirror.
