A Pharmacist Warns About The Two Silent Killer Warning Signs That You Might Find In Your Feet

Your feet can reveal important health clues. Pharmacist Noel Wicks explains that foot health, including toenails, may signal serious conditions. “Thickening and brittleness of toenails may occur with heart disease,” he says, adding that pain, swelling, or numbness in feet could indicate blocked blood vessels and heart issues.

Peripheral arterial disease (PAD), caused by fatty deposits in arteries, limits blood flow to the legs. Symptoms include leg pain during walking, sores that don’t heal, and dry, cracked skin. Athlete’s foot and thick yellow nails might also signal diabetes or heart problems.

Don’t overlook your feet—they could save your life.
