Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s 15-year-old child introduced their new name, Fin Affleck, during a memorial service for Garner’s late father, William Garner. The event was held on April 6 at Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston, West Virginia. Fin, dressed in a black pantsuit and sporting a buzz cut, addressed the audience, saying, “Hello, my name is Fin Affleck.” They also read Proverbs 16:8: “Better is a little with righteousness, than a large income with injustice.”
Fin’s new name had previously appeared on their backpack, and they were recently seen hugging Garner goodbye in Los Angeles. The teenager, who shares a close bond with step-sibling Emme Muñiz, rarely appears on social media.
Garner shared a heartfelt tribute to her father on Instagram, celebrating his life, faith, and gentle demeanor. She expressed gratitude to the medical teams who cared for him, saying, “We are grateful for Dad’s gentle demeanor and quiet strength.”
