Elon Musk’s daughter issues scathing response after he was accused of giving ‘Nazi salute’ at Trump rally

Three days after Elon Musk was accused of making a “Nazi salute” at Trump’s inauguration rally, his estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, criticized him publicly. At the event, Musk, now part of the Department of Government Efficiency, made a gesture described as thumping his chest and extending his arm outward. He stated, “Thank you for making it happen. My heart goes out to you.” Critics, including historians and politicians, interpreted it as a Nazi or Roman salute.

Musk denied the claims, calling them media propaganda, and mocked the controversy: “People assuming I’m not talking about card suits shows how dishonest they can be.” Wikipedia and media coverage fueled the debate, though the Anti-Defamation League defended Musk, attributing the gesture to enthusiasm.

Wilson sarcastically posted, “Let’s call a spade a f***ing spade,” implying her disbelief in Musk’s explanations while referencing the double gestures interpreted controversially.
