Donald Trump signs executive order on the death penalty

Donald Trump, now the 47th President of the United States, wasted no time in delivering on his promises. Sworn in on January 20, the 78-year-old has already signed several executive orders, which don’t require congressional approval.

Among them is one targeting the death penalty. True to his reputation for action, Trump has shown “ruthless efficiency” just days into his second term.

While his policies and attitude remain divisive, no one can accuse him of “resting on his laurels.” Trump’s swift moves highlight his determination to fulfill the promises that brought him back to the Oval Office.
