Dog found in dumpster wrapped up in duct tape: “I have never seen anything like it”

A horrifying case of animal cruelty had a happy ending after a dog named Leo was rescued from a dumpster in Nebraska. Found with his head, tail, and legs bound in duct tape, Leo was discovered just in time by Animal Control before the dumpster was emptied.

The Nebraska Humane Society removed the tape, cleaned him, and found he had mild skin irritation but was otherwise healthy. A microchip revealed his identity, reuniting him with his relieved owner, Erin Dillon-Pasillas, who had been searching for him after he went missing.

The culprit remains unknown, and a $1,000 reward is offered for information. While the incident was heartbreaking, Leo is now recovering safely at home.
