A tattooed father transforms himself for the sake of his small daughter.
Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, an Australian body modification enthusiast, has over 200 tattoos and has spent around $60,000 AUD ($39,000 USD) on his appearance. His transformation began at 11 with ear stretching and later included a split tongue and belly button removal.
However, Ethan now regrets some of his tattoos. “Not just regret, I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be perceived differently,” he shared. Concerned about how his appearance affects daily life, he admitted, “The face is a big thing… I probably wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with until she was a bit older.”
To change, he has undergone laser removal for a year. “I started getting it done because of the anxiety… but I’m also happy with the mentality that over the next two years, my face tattoos are going to become less and less.”
