Trump signs controversial order addressing political prosecutions

Donald Trump, recently sworn in for his second term as U.S. president, signed numerous executive orders, some sparking public controversy.

One notable order granted pardons to nearly a dozen pro-life activists convicted under the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and “Conspiracy Against Rights.”

While Trump did not reveal their identities, he described them as “peaceful protesters.” The move has fueled debates over federal regulations and free speech rights.
