Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown has drawn global attention. Since returning to the White House 19 days ago, he has signed numerous executive orders, including lifting the TikTok ban and enforcing gender definitions. His focus on immigration is clear: “We will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came.”
To carry out this plan, Trump has directed federal agencies like the FBI and US Marshals to search databases for undocumented migrants. Reports suggest military deportation flights are costing taxpayers $4,675 per person—far higher than a commercial first-class ticket at $853. Other estimates vary, with some flights costing up to $852,000.
Despite the cost, Trump remains committed. At his Doral golf club, he declared: “For the first time in history, we are locating and loading illegal aliens into military aircraft and flying them back.” His administration views this as a show of strength, with press secretary Karoline Leavitt stating: “President Trump is sending a strong and clear message… you will face severe consequences.”
