FCC Chairman Brendan Carr to Update Lawmakers on George Soros’s Influence Over Local Radio Stations

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr will brief Republican lawmakers on George Soros’s influence on local radio stations.

Carr is set to address the Republican Study Committee, a group of 175 House Republicans, during their closed-door lunch. According to Fox News, the briefing will highlight Soros’s connection to an investment firm that acquired “over 200 Audacy radio stations” last year.

The meeting will provide updates on the FCC’s investigation into how Soros’s involvement impacts media ownership and public interest.
