JUST IN: Trump, DOGE Secure Significant Legal Victory

Judge Rules in Favor of Trump Administration on USAID Cuts

A federal judge ruled in favor of the Trump administration’s move to terminate nearly 800 USAID contractors.

U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee, denied the contractors’ request to block their firings, stating they failed to prove “irreparable harm.”

The decision follows Nichols’ earlier ruling against a USAID union’s effort to prevent over 2,000 job cuts.

He noted that any harm was “directly traceable” to government contract changes, advising contractors to seek relief through other legal channels.
