Scott Baio, once the teen idol Chachi Arcola on *Happy Days*, has found deeper purpose in family life. “I was a working actor at nine,” he recalls, but his focus now is on his wife, Renee Sloan, and their daughter, Bailey.
Baio and Renee faced heartbreak when one of their twins died during pregnancy. They also feared for Bailey’s health after a misdiagnosis, but relief followed when she was cleared. This inspired them to create a foundation promoting newborn screenings. “We didn’t want other families to go through what we did,” Baio shared.
Renee has fought her own health battles, including breast cancer and meningioma brain tumors. Baio calls her “the strongest person I know,” standing by her through every challenge.
In 2023, Baio moved his family to Florida for a “new beginning.” Bailey is thriving as a young golfer, winning early recognition for her talent.
After 17 years of marriage in 2024, Baio says his life is now “all about family.” Despite the ups and downs, his journey reflects strength, love, and resilience.
