Hollywood has lost another legendary talent. Wings Hauser, known for his gritty roles in *Vice Squad* and *Tough Guys Don’t Dance*, passed away at 77. His daughter Bright confirmed he died at home in Santa Monica on March 15, 2025, after battling COPD. Bright called him “a force of nature, a storyteller, and an artist who left an indelible mark on the screen and in our hearts.”
Wings’ career spanned nearly six decades, often playing complex anti-heroes and villains. His fearless performances and rebellious spirit earned him a devoted following. Bright added, “His legacy is one of fearless creativity… and of a man who gave everything to his craft.”
His wife and creative partner, Cali Lili Hauser, revealed he passed away in her arms. She said they were working on music, books, and a new film together. “He said I was his future,” Cali shared.
Wings arrived in Hollywood “with thirty dollars and a box of Pampers,” raising his son Cole as a single dad while building his career.
An upcoming documentary, *Wings Hauser: Working Class Actor*, will honor his life and legacy.
