Single Mother’s Quick Thinking Turns Lost Child Incident into Heartwarming Lesson

A routine grocery trip turned alarming when a single mother lost sight of her seven-year-old son, Jalen, amidst juggling groceries and a toddler. She spotted him across the parking lot with a state trooper, who had handed Jalen his badge to keep him calm, saying it made him feel “important.”

After thanking the trooper, he asked her, “How do you keep your boy so cheerful even when you’re… well, alone?”
