At just 7 years old, A.J. Hutto testified that his mother, Amanda Lewis, drowned his sister Adrianna. Now 24, he still stands by his words: *“She’s 100% guilty.”*
In 2008, A.J. told a Florida courtroom, *“Mama got mad”* and *“dunked”* Adrianna in the pool. His chilling drawing showed Lewis pushing Adrianna underwater while he watched from a tree. When asked how it happened, he said, *“Putting her hand over her face.”*
Though Lewis claimed she was napping and believed the kids were playing, A.J.’s clear, calm account led to her conviction for first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse. She received a life sentence.
After the trial, A.J. was adopted under a new name. Now a firefighter, he told the *Daily Mail*, *“I just told them exactly what I saw word for word.”*
He remembers *“darkness, trauma,”* and abuse from his early years. Adrianna was his *“best friend.”* He hasn’t seen his mother since the trial and says he doesn’t want to. *“It was heartbreaking,”* he admits, *“but also a relief.”*
