Terrifying moment live TV broadcast interrupted after station was bombed as anchor forced to flee

Israel and Iran have exchanged strikes since June 13, when Israel launched a major attack on Iranian nuclear sites. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu called it *“a targeted military operation to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.”*

On June 16, an Israeli airstrike hit Iran’s state TV building during a live broadcast. Anchor Sahar Emami fled mid-air, saying, *“What you noticed is the sound of a clear aggression by the Zionist regime.”* One staff member was killed. Iran’s foreign ministry condemned the strike as a *“war crime.”*

The conflict stems from concerns over Iran enriching uranium to 60%—*“90 percent of the work needed”* to reach weapon-grade levels. Iran claims peaceful intent, but global powers fear otherwise.

Former President Trump warned, *“Iran can not have a nuclear weapon,”* and urged a new deal. He denied U.S. involvement in the latest strikes but threatened retaliation if Iran attacks American interests.

So far, at least 78 Iranians and 13 Israelis have died. Civilians, including Caitlyn Jenner—trapped in Tel Aviv—have taken shelter. *“We are back in the shelters… this looks like the third wave of attack,”* she said. The situation remains volatile with no ceasefire in sight.
