Trump’s Close Advisor Warns: Iran Strike May Trigger Third World War

Steve Bannon, a former Trump advisor and MAGA leader, warned that Trump’s recent strike on Iran could start World War III. “Another big weekend in this unfolding aspect of the Third World War,” Bannon said on his *War Room Pandemic* podcast, hours before the U.S. attack.

Shortly before 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, Trump announced on Truth Social that he had ordered the bombing of Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan nuclear sites. “Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success,” Trump said.

Bannon had tried to talk Trump out of joining Israel’s actions against Iran during a recent lunch, but later confirmed the attack was set to go. “The party is on,” he said, quoting the WWII film *A Bridge Too Far*.

He also criticized former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany and mocked her calls for limited military action. “Just one swoop of a jet that Kayleigh McEnany wants,” he joked.

Bannon argued that mass deportations of illegal immigrants should be the nation’s top priority, not foreign wars. “Who’s paying for that? You,” he said. “The vital national security interests of this country lie with us.”
