11-Year-Old Girl Jordan Roe Dies After Fatal Tubing Accident – Heartbreaking Details

Eleven-year-old Jordan Roe died in a tragic tubing accident during a family barbecue on June 24, 2025. She was riding a tube pulled by a jet ski with her cousins, 8-year-old Laila and 9-year-old Brylee, when they collided with a dock. All three were thrown into the water. Jordan died on impact, while Laila was seriously injured and later underwent several surgeries. Brylee had only minor bruises.

Jordan’s family says she instinctively shielded Laila in her final moments. “Jordan sacrificed her life, and she saved her cousin’s life,” said Kristine Robinson, Laila’s mother. Known as a “protector” and a “free spirit,” Jordan loved rescuing animals and dreamed of becoming a surgeon or veterinarian.

Her community mourned the loss with tributes online. One post read, “The love, laughter, and joy you brought will echo in our hearts forever.” Jordan also donated her organs, continuing to help others even after her death.

Two GoFundMe campaigns were launched — one for Laila’s recovery and one for Jordan’s funeral. Laila remains in pediatric ICU, while the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission continues investigating the crash. The family urges others to cherish their loved ones and prioritize water safety.
